6 x 90 minute sessions. Learn to make great TikTok and YouTube videos for environmental and social activism. Class includes pre-produced step-by-step video lessons on smart phone filming, conducting interviews, and video editing, as well as individual and group coaching and tutorials lead by award-winning filmmakers and video activists. This project is in support of OSUN's WorldWide Teach-in on Climate and Justice, coming. 30.3.22.
The top four films/video campaigns produced by students in the class (selected by peers at end-of-class film festival) will each receive $500 prizes in support of their climate campaigns.
Each team of student filmmakers will be mentored in weekly sessions by one of our four award-winning instructors in the build up to the final end-of-class film festival and awards ceremony!

Course requires Smartphone + laptop with video editing software (we can provide free options!)
We will also cover use of other gear such as smartphone stabilizers and DSLR Cameras for those who have them, but these are not required to participate!
Class requires approximately 90 minutes per week of training + participation in weekly live 90 minute session with filmmakers on zoom.
